Applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS for filling up of 35 posts (UR-19, SC-05, ST-03 , OBC-08 ) of SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) Group ‘C’ in ITBP from Indian citizens in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000/- . Last date for receipt of applications is 02nd January 2008 (02/01/2008).
Age : Between 20 to 25 years (Cut off date 31st August 2007). Upper age limit is relaxable for by 5 years for candidate belonging to SC & ST Category, 3 years for candidate belonging to OBC Category and 5 years for Govt. Servant in accordance with the instructions or order issued by the Central Govt.
Educational Qualification : Matric or equivalent with Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.
Fee : All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the ACCOUNTS OFFICER, DIRECTORATE GENERAL, ITB POLICE, NEW DELHI alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee .
How to Apply : Application Form in prescribed format along with Candidate’s Admission Card and attested copies of requisite documents/testimonials should be sent by the candidates so as to reach the DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL (ENGR), DIRECTORATE GENERAL, INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE, BLOCK-2, CGO COMPLEX, LODI ROAD, NEW DELHI-110003 on or before the last date 02/01/2008. 17/01/2008 for candidates from far-flung areas.
