Name of the Post/Vacancies: Clerk , 200 vacancies (in different states)

Pay Scale : Rs. 4410-13210/-

Probation Period : minimum period of probation is 6 months.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.06.2007) : (a) Degree with minimum of 50% marks in any discipline or its equivalent. or (b) Higher Secondary Examination/ 10+2 examination of 10+2+3 pattern with 65% marks in aggregate or its equivalent from a Recognised University/ Board.

Age: Not below 18 years and not above 28 years as on 01/06/2007, relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

Selection Procedure: The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test (Objective Tests Duration 95 minutes and Descriptive Test of 5 compulsary quetions) and Interview.

Application Fee : (A) For SC/ST/VH/HI/OH/EX-Serviceman Candidates Rs.50/- (B) For all others including OBC - Rs.225/-.

Requisite Application Fee should be payable by Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque drawn on any scheduled bank favouring "Indian Overseas Bank- Clerical Recruitment Project” payable at Mumbai only.
