Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the Indian Citizens for under noted positions to work in CIMFR/ Its Units /Project sites. The Engagement, being purely temporary and contractual in nature will be co terminus with the project. After completion of the project, or otherwise, the candidate will have no claim whatsoever for appointment in CIMFR/ CSIR.

• Project Assistant Level IV : 01 (UR) , Pay : Rs. 12,000/-, Qualification : Ph.D (Soil Sc./ Environmental Sc / Geology)
• Project Assistant Level -II : 42 posts (UR-22, OBC- 11, SC- 06, ST – 02 & PH- 01), Pay : Rs. 8,000/-, Qualification : 18 – 1st class M.Sc (Chemistry) + 08 1st class M.Sc
  (Geology/ Applied Geology/ Earth Science) + 01 1st class B.E (Mechanical) + 01 1st class B.E (Civil) + 02 1st class B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical) + 01 1st class B.E/ B.Tech
  (Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engg.) + 01 1st class M.Sc (Physics) + 10 1st class M.Sc / B.Tech{Soil Sc./ Environmental Sc./ Bio chemistry/Botany/ Microbiology/ Entomology/ Zoology/ Agriculture/ Life Science/ Biotechnology)
• Project Assistant Level-I : 15 posts (UR-07,OBC- 03, SC-03) , Pay : Rs. 5000/- , Qualification : 12 - 1st Class B.Sc in Chemistry + 01- 1st class B.Sc {Chem./ Geology/ Applied Geology/ Physics or Mathematics} + 01 - 1st class Dip. In Electronics Engg or Electronics & Communication Engg.+ 01 - 1st class Dip. In Chemical Engg.

Age : Maximum Age of the applicants as on 14th September, 2007 should be 28 Years only for P.A Level I & II and 30 years for P.A Level IV. Relaxable by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PH against reserved positions only.

How to Apply : Attested Photocopies of all relevant certificates along with one self addressed and stamped for Rs.22/- envelope and a recent passport size photograph should invariably be enclosed with the application form in the prescribed format. Envelopes containing applications duly filled in and super- scribed ‘ Application for Project Assistants Level- I or II OR IV should reach – The Administrative Officer, Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research, Digwadih Campus, Erstwhile CFRI, P.O.
