Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the 100 posts of Topo Trainee Type (TTT) 'A' in Geo-spatial Data Centres/Offices Survey of India situated at different locations . Applications completed in all respects alongwith attested copies of certificates, mark sheets and testimonials duly signed and filled in the format given below should reach the Addl. Surveyor General/Director of the concerned Geo-Spatial Data Centre on or before 7th January, 2008 (Monday).

  • Pay Scale : Rs. 3050-75-80-4590/- during the period of training which is normally about 2 years. On completion of training they will be fixed in the scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000/-.
  • Qualification : Candidates must have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics from a recognized University. The candidates possessing less than 45% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC in B.Sc. examination need not apply.
  • Age : The candidates must be between 18 to 27 years of age (18 to 32 years of age in case of SC/ST Candidates and 18 to 30 years of age in the case of OBC) as on the last date of receipt of application.
  • Methods of Selection : Selection will be based on written tests in Mathematics, English, General Knowledge with Science to be held on 2nd March, 2008 (Sunday) at the above Centers under supervision of Appointing authority. Stereoscopic Fusion Test and interview will be conducted only in respect of those candidates who qualify in the written test.
