Applications are invited from unmarried male indian citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service) of the Indian Navy for Course commencing Jul 2007.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 19 and 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 Jul 1982 to 01 Jul 1988; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : Any of the following
- A Graduate with minimum 55% aggregate arks of a recognised university with Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level
- BE/B.Tech. (or equivalent) from an institution recognised by AICTE with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in any discipline
- A graduate of a recognised university (with Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level) holding NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division 'C' certificate.
Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight.
SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
