IRCTC, a premier Public Sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways is on the way to become one of the largest players in the Catering & Tourism Business. IRCTC has a vision to become one of the largest integrated hospitality company by 2010.

Applications are invited for Quality Control Professionals for a period of two years on contract. The number of posts is 100. Interested candidates must fulfill following eligibility conditions:
Essential : Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management from Institutes recognised by NCHM/State Board of Technical Education/ AICTE. Candidate with minimum teo years post qualification practical experience in food production/ food and beverage service need only apply.

Desirable : should have aptitude for maintaining quality control, packaging, processing and other hospitality related components such as cutomer care, cutomer complaints, maintaining the requisite standards of hygiene and food safety norms. (b) Experience of handling production units and operations related to the catering industry along with elementrary knowledge of costing.

The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01/01/2007. The positions are primarily for Delhi, but could be deputed all over India. Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated sum of Rs.20000/- during the period of contract appointment.
