NID is looking for the right candidates as:
- Deans : To provide academic and research leadership for (a) PG Campus, Gandhinagar and (b) R&D Campus, Bangalore respectively and reporting to the Director, NID at the Heritage (main) campus. The right candidate should be a professional with Doctoral/ PG qualification in Design/Technology/allied areas having at least 10-12 years experience with 2-3 years as Head of Department/ Activity of an Institution/ Univeristy/ Design related organisation of high repute and extensively involved in academic/ research pursuits and leadership. Exposure to R&d Management of Sponsored researc will be an advantage.
- Head, Integrated Design Services : To head design consultancy activities of NID operating from the Heritage (main) Campus at Ahmedbabad. The right candidate should be a Design profesional or Manager with PG qualificaiton in Design/ Mangement, technology fields having at least 10 years experience with 3-5 years as Head of industry service division of an Institution / University / Design organisation of high repute & extensively involved in heading creative teams and client service personnel, preferebly with teaching or research experience and IPR management experience. Preferred age group is 35-45 years.
- Specialised Technical Faculty Domain experts in the following areas required at PG Campus, Gandhinagar and R&D campus, Bangalore :
- Mechatronics and Robotics
- Cognitive Engineering, Modelling and Simulation
- Web technology and web applications
- Mobile computing and technology
- HCI and software engineering
- Computer animation and computer graphics
- CAD/CAM with expertise in Automation
- Control system, Usability analysis interaction design
- Digital Design/Retail Technology
