Applications are invited for the following posts in a Government of India Organisation :
- Interpreter (in Urdu, Assemese, Kashmiri, Manipuri, Mizo, Thangkul, French, German, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Nepali, Shinhala, Tibetan, Chinese (Cantonese), Dzongkha, Kachin, Malayu, Thai, Pushto, Burmese and Viatnamese), Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500/-, Age : 30 years as on 01/08/07, Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in the concerned language from a recognised university or institution or a degree with diploma in the concerned language from a recognised university. Experience : High degree of proficiency in English with competence to translate from the concerned language into English and vice-versa.
- Senior Field Officers : Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500/-, Age : 30 years as on 01/08/2007, Qualification : Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Mathematical Statistics or Applied Mathematics or Analytical Mathematics.
The Department is exempted for the provision of reservation and hence there is not reservation for any category of candidates viz. SC/ST/OBC. However age relaxation upto 5 years can be given for Central Government Employees working in the same line/allied cadre, Kashmiri Migrants, Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned Officers who have rendered at least 5 years military service as on 01/08/2007.
How to Apply : Apply in the prescribed format and fille in English Capital letters only. Candidates should use only Black Ink. Candidates need not send photocopy of any document alongwith the application form. The envelop should be super scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF .............................." and addressed to "Post Bag No. 001, Lodhi Raod Head Post Office, New Delhi - 110003" on or before 29/10/2007 and 10/11/2007 for the candidates from NE States, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands.
