Direct Recruitment for Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) competitive examination on 20th & 21st January, 2008.

Bharat Sanchar Niagam Limited, J & K Telecom Circle will recruit about 185 posts of Telecom Technical Assistants (TTAs) in 5 different Secondary Switching Areas (SSAs) , details of which are as follows :
- Jammu : 66 posts (SC-5,ST-7,OBC-17,UR-37), Address : DGM (Plg & Adm) O/o GM BSNL, Main Telephone Exchange Building, Kachi Chowni, Jammu - 180001
- Srinagar : 64 posts (SC-5,ST-7,OBC-17,UR-35), Address : DGM (Plg & Adm) O/o GM BSNL, Exchange Raod, Srinagar Kashmir - 190001
- Rajouri : 14 posts (SC-1,ST-2,OBC-5,UR-6), Address : TDE BSNL, D.C. Colony, Rajouri (J&K) - 185131
- Udhampur : 31 posts (SC-2,ST-3,OBC-8,UR-18), Address : TDM BSNL, Telephone Exchange Building, Dhar Raod, Udhampur (J&K) - 182101
- Leh : 10 posts (SC-1,OBC-4,UR-5), Address : TDM BSNL, Telephone Exchange, Leh (J&K) - 194101
Qualification : Applicant must possess three year Engineering Diploma as on 16.11.2007 in Telecommunications Engg./ Electronics Engg./ Electrical Engg./ Radio Engg./ Computer Engg./ Instruments Technology/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized institution/University. The candidates having higher qualification like BE or B.Tech. in the respective stream will also be eligible.
Age : 18 to 27 years as on 16/11/07. Relaxation as per rules.Pay Scale : Rs. 7100-10100/- IDA pattern.
Application Fee : The Examination fee of Rs.500/-(Five Hundred Only) is to be sent along with the application form in the form of Demand Draft issued by any Nationalized /Scheduled Bank drawn in the favour of AO (Cash) O/o concerned SSA as mentioned above.
How to Apply : The completed application in prescribed format should be sent by registered post to the concerned SSA in which applicant want to apply, so as to reach in the concerned SSA on or before 16/11/2007. The envelope containing application form should be marked "Application for Direct Recruitment to the Cadre of Telecom Technical Assistatn”.
