Department of MPP&Power(HPSEB):
- Assistant Engineers Electrical Class-I ,Gazetted on Regular Basis : 20 posts (UR-12,SC-03,ST-01,OBC-02)
- Assistant Engineers Electrical Class-I ,Gazetted on Contract Basis : 20 posts (UR-12,SC-03,ST-01,OBC-02)
- Age limit: 45 years and below as on 01-01-07
- Essential Qualification:-Recognised Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE)/ Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEE) or its equivalent from a recognised Institution/ University.
Department of Medical Education :
- Professor Oral Surgery : 01 post
- Professor Oral Medicine & Radiology : 01 post
- Professor Oral & Dental Pathology including Dental Anatomy : 01 post
- Qualification : Master Degree in Dent Surgery in the concerned subject.
A recognised BDS Degree from the Indian University constituted under the Statue or an equivalent qualification and having recognised post graduation degree or its equivalent in the concerned speciality and possess at least five years teaching experience as Reader/ Assistant Professor (Dentistry) in a Dental College recognised by the Dental Council of India in the concerned speciality after doing post graduation in the concerned speciality - Pay Scale : Rs.18600-22100/-
- Assistant Professor : 07 posts (Periodontics -02, Operative Dentistry -01, Orthodontics - 01, Oral and Dental Pathology Including Dental Anatomy - 01, Oral Medicine & Radiology - 01, Community Dentistry - 01, ) , Pay Scale : Rs.16350-20100/-, Qualification : A recognised BDS Degree from the Indian University constituted under the Statue or an equivalent qualification and having recognised post graduation degree or its equivalent in the concerned speciality and possess at least three years teaching experience as Lecturer (Dentistry) in a Dental College recognised by Dental Council of India in the concerned Speciality after doing post graduation in the concerned speciality. Master Degree in Dental Surgery in the concerned subject, Age Limit : 45 years and below as on 01-01-07.
- Lecturer : 15 posts (Prosthodontics-03, Conservative Dentistry - 03, Oral Surgery - 03,
Periodontics-02, Oral Pathology - 02, Oral Medicine-01, Community Dentistry -01,
Paedodontics-01), Pay Scale : Rs.7880-13500/-, Age Limit : 45 years and below as on 01-01-07, Essential Qualification: A recognised BDS Degree from the Indian University constituted under the statue or an equivalent qualification and having recognised post graduation degree or its equivalent in the concerned speciality and possess
at least six months experience as a House Surgeon in a Dental College recognised by the Dental Council of India in the concerned speciality after doing post graduation in the concerned speciality.

- HDM(Arch.), Class-II ,Gazetted. : 02 posts
- Pay Scale :-Rs.7000-10980/-
- Age Limit:-18 to 45 years as on 01-01-2007.
- Essential Qualification:-(a)Bachelor degree in Architecture of a recognised Institution or its equivalent. OR (b) Intermediate examination in Architecture from a recognised Institution with 03 years experience under a qualified Architect , after qualifying intermediate examination. OR (c) Diploma course in Architectural Assistantship awarded by the state Board with 03 years experience under a qualified Architect after
qualifying diploma course.
Department of Industries, H.P.
- Silk Seed Production Officer, Class-II, Gazetted : 01 post
- Pay Scale :Rs.6400-10640/-
- Age Limit: 45 years and below as on01-01-2007.
- Qualification: M.Sc.Degree in Agriculture / Zoology /Botany of a recognised University or its equivalent with training in any Branch of Sericulture. OR B.Sc.(Agriculture) with training in Sericulture plus 02 years experience in Sericulture operations. OR B.Sc. in Zoology and Botany of a recognised University or its equivalent with training in
Sericulture and 03 years experience in Sericulture operations. OR Graduate of a recognised University or its equivalent with training in Sericulture and 03 years experience in Sericulture operations in Sericulture Organisation
Department of Forest
- Training Expert : 01 post (On Contractual basis for 01 year and renewal on year to year basis subject to performance of work(2007-2013)
- Emoluments :Rs. 45000/- per month fixed.
- Age : Not more than 45 years as on 01-05-2007.
- Qualifications: 1. Ph.D. in related field (Social Sciences or Natural Resource Management). 2 At least 03 years experience in training in Natural Resource Management and Participatory Methodology.3. Good knowledge of Hindi(reading writing and comprehension).
- Social Development Expert : 02 posts (One Expert for initial two years and one Expert on year to
year contract from 2007-2013) - Age : Not more than 45 years as on 01-05-2007.
- Qualifications : 1. Ph.D. in related field (Social Sciences). 2 Experience of 03 years or more in conducting Social Surveys and generating reports.3. Experience in working on Social aspects in similar Projects. 4. Good knowledge of Hindi (reading, writing and comprehension is essential).5. Good
communication skills. - Environment Education Expert : 01 post (on contranct basis)
- Emoluments : Rs. 45000/- per month
- Age : Not more than 45 years as on 01-5-2007
- Qualifications: 1. Ph.D. in the relevant subject. 2 Experience of 03years or more in working on Natural resource management or in similar Projects. 3.Good knowledge of Hindi (reading, writing and comprehension) is essential
Application Fee in shape of Bank draft for Rs. 250/-only, (Rs.63/- for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.only), payable at Shimla to the Secretary ,HPPSC, Nigam Vihar , Shimla-171002 (HP). Ex-servicemen unless discharged at their own request before completion of normal tenure, are exempted from payment of application fee. Visually handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

The candidates must attach self addressed post card with application for acknowledgement , indicating the name of the post applied for ,date of despatch and Bank Draft No.
