IISER, Kolkata invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following posts:

1. Deputy Registrar (Finance) - 1 post, Scale of pay: Rs.12,000-420-18,300/-, Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade with specialization in Finance/ Accounts or ICWA/ CA/MBA (Finance)/ MIS. At least 8 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or an equivalent post in Accounts/ Finance/ Audit Branch in Scientific Organisations/ Universities/ Technological Institutes. Experience/ Exposure to Computer based Accounting and Audit will be preferred.
2. Assistant Registrar (Admin/Academics) - 1 post, Scale of pay: Rs.8,000-275-13,500/- Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Minimum 8 years of experience, out of which 5 years should be in supervisory capacity, in Administration/ Academic/ Examination Branch in Scientific Organisations/ Universities/ Technological Institutes. Experience in computer systems & applications, office automation will be preferred.
3. Assistant Registrar (Finance) - 1 post, Scale of pay: 8,000-275-13,500/-Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with specialization in Finance/ Accounts or ICWA/ CA/ MBA (Finance)/ MIS. Minimum 8 years of experience, out of which 5 ears should be in supervisory capacity, in Accounts/ Finance/ Audit Branch in Scientific Organisations/ Universities/ Technological Institutes. Experience/ Exposure to computer based Accounting and Audit will be preferred.
4. Documentation Officer - 1 post, Scale of pay: 8,000-275-13,500/-, Qualification and experience: A Post graduate degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and a consistently good academic record OR Master's degree in Art/ Science/ Commerce with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with Bachelor's degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% or its equivalent grade plus a consistently good academic record. Experience in computerization of Library Services will be preferred.
5. Project Engineer-cum-Estate Officer - 1 post, Scale of pay: 10,000-325-15,200/-, Qualification and experience: Degree in Civil Engineering (preferable 1st class) with a minimum total experience of 7 years of which at least 4 years should have been as an Assistant Engineer. Experience must be in the area of Civil Engineering design and estimation, construction management, maintenance of buildings, road and drainage systems and handling of major civil project works.
6. Accountant - 1 post, Scale of pay: 5,000-150-8,000/- , Qualification and experience: Master's Degree, preferably in Commerce with 3 years experience as Assistant Accountant or Bachelor's degree preferably in Commerce with 6 years experience as Assistant Accountant or equivalent post dealing with Finance/ Accounts/ Audit Branch. Knowledge of accounting software will be perferred.
7. Office Assistant (Multi-skill) - 1 post, Scale of pay: 4,500-125-7,000/-, Qualification and experience: Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years relevant experience. Knowledge of computer office applications & secretarial practice will be preferred.
8. Laboratory Technician - 1 post, Scale of pay: 4,500-125-7,000/-, Qualification and experience: Master's Degree in appropriate field or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years relevant experience or MCA with one year experience. Knowledge of computer application will be preferred.
9. Laboratory Assistant - 1 post, Scale of pay: 3,200-85-4,900/-, Qualification and experience: Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field or Diploma in Engineering of 3 years duration in appropriate field. Knowledge of computer application will be preferred.
10. Driver - 1 post, Scale of pay: 3,050-75-3950-80-4590/-, Qualification and experience: Senior Secondary (10+2) pass with Driving License of both heavy and light duty vehicles with 3 years of driving and maintenance experience OR (10+2) pass with ITI course with license for both heavy and light duty vehicles with 2 years of relevant experience.
11. Attendant - 1 post, Scale of pay: 2,550-55-2660-60-3,200/-, Qualification and experience: 10th Standard pass with preferably one year of relevant experience.
    

The above posts carry allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees posted at Kolkata. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH etc. will be made as per Government of India rules.
