Walk-In Test and Interview

Walk-In written test and interview eil be held for Indian nationals for a project on Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (TKDL), a collaborative project between Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) and CSIR. The project is tenable at CSIR under the guidence of Head, Information Technology Division, CSIR, Rafi Marg, New Delhi for the following posts which are purely on temporary and contract basis, initially for a period of six months or the duration of the projectm, whichever is earlier.

  1. Project Assistants (Sr.) : 05 posts
    • Discipline : Information Technology
    • Age limit : Not more than 30 years as on last date of submission of application. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
    • Qualification : First Class M.Sc./BE/B.Tech./MCA or equivalent
    • Experience : One Year.
    • Consolidated Stipend: Rs.18000/-
    • Desirable : 2 posts - Experience in one or more software products viz. Visual Basic, MS-SQL Server, ASP, HTML, Photoshop/Dreamweaver/Flash, web-enabled application and portal designing on Windows NT/Windows Server 2000/ Windows Server 2003, 3 posts - Exeprience in Linux, LAN Administration, setting up of internet and e-mail services, configuration of mail server, implementing web security solutions.
    • Job Requirements : Software Development and implementation for TKDL project.

Written test for Project Assistants (Sr.) will be held on 25/06/2007 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and the candidates must report at the office of CCRUM at 9.00 AM. The interview of the short-listed candidates will take place at 2.00 PM on the same day. Written test will will comprise of two papers one on logic and resoning and other technical.

The candidates must bring original certificates/testimonials at the time of interview/ written test alongwith two copies of attested photographs and a set of attested copies of certificates/testimonials in support of age, educational qualification, experience and caste/tribe etc. Candidates must also bring a copy of their bio-data neatly typed on A4 paper on the date of written test.
