Directorate of Medical Education invites applications for the posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Tutors Government Medical colleges/ Dental colleges. The appointments are on contract basis (without any reference to their pensions) The period of contract for various levels is as indicated below :
- Professors Upto 3 Years
- Associate Professors Upto 4 Years
- Assistant Professors; and Upto 5 Years
- Tutors Upto 3 years
The contract period may be renewed on satisfactory performance and subject to the maximum age limit of 65 years.
Remuneration (Per month) :
- Professors : Rs.100000/-
- Associate Professors : Rs. 90000/-
- Assistant Professors : and Rs.75000/-
- Tutors : Rs.40000/-
Qualification : Faculty - As per the MCI norms of minimum qualification of teachers in Medical Institutions regulations – 1998, Tutor - M.B.B.S / Post Graduate Diploma / M.Sc for Non Medical persons for Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry / Bio-Physics.
How to Apply : Interested persons should submit their applications together with a detailed BIO-DATA and copies of certificates in support of Date of Birth (SSC and or its equivalent) / MBBS / P.G.qualification (3) Medical Registration (4) Teaching Experience in different cadres (5) contact no’s (residence & mobile) to the Director of Medical Education Nodal Officer by 15th March 2008.
